The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE result 2024 for the class XII examinations, showcasing a notable performance across various regions and demographics. With an overall pass percentage of 87.98%, there’s been a commendable 0.65% increase compared to the previous year.
In terms of regional achievements, the Trivandrum region stands out with a remarkable pass percentage of 99.91%. Meanwhile, students from the Delhi region achieved a commendable 94.9% pass rate.
Gender-based performance analysis reveals a notable trend, with 91.52% of girls successfully passing the exams, surpassing boys by a notable margin of 6.40%, as boys recorded an 85.12% pass rate.
For students eagerly awaiting their results, they can access them through various platforms. Official websites such as results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, and cbseresults.nic.in offer result checking services. Additionally, results are available on popular apps like UMANG and Digilocker, as well as through the Pariksha Sangam portal and SMS facilities.
The examination period for class XII commenced on February 15 and concluded on April 2, while class X board exams wrapped up on March 13, with results yet to be disclosed.
It’s crucial to note that students must attain a minimum of 33% marks to secure a passing grade in both class X and XII examinations.
Reflecting on historical trends, results for the CBSE examinations in 2023 were announced on May 12, whereas in 2022, they were declared on July 22.
